Was it around the shift from survival horror to action with some horror elements? I can’t say I ever found Salazar’s castle in RE4 to be realistic, even with RE standards. Lava pits, mechanical dragons, rollercoasters…giant clockwork robot chase sequence…The game had to be joking at that point, right? I can’t believe RE4 was taking itself seriously at this point.
