Attack of the Clones came out ten years ago today. Huh.

To the friends I forced to see this in theaters for my birthday: I apologize profusely.

After Phantom Menace I had literally zero interest in seeing Attack of the Clones, but my friend said he heard it was good and wanted to see it. I shrugged and said, “Why not? At least there won’t be any kid Anakin.”

We walked out of the theater going, “You’re not all powerful Annie.” “Well I should be! Nyeeeeh!”

Anakin’s still creepy to me at times and I have no idea why Padme would find that attractive.

I really wonder if Lucas basically filmed them both separately and then digitally put them where they are, thinking that you could use actors like paper cut-outs in a scene.
